Community Involvement
LDS girls at 2011 Relay for Life
LDS is an organization committed to giving back to the Fargo/Moorhead area. Throughout the school year, we participate in monthly, non-profit projects benefitting local charities and organizations that contribute to the well-being of the community. A few of our yearly projects range from a male pageant hosted at Concordia to raise money for the YWCA, participating in trick-or-canning where we help plan a door-to-door campaign to collect food items for the Dorothy Day House, to a trampoline bouncing "marathon" to raise contributions for the Shriners Children's Hosipital. Lambda Delta Sigma continually holds sisterhood through philanthropy as the heart of its purpose. Other projects held in past years include: Adopt-a-Highway, Snow Football, and carolling at Eventide.
LDS is also proud to participate in many events in the local campus communities. One of our favorite events is particpating in the Homecoming parade for Concordia and Homecoming events with our brother fraternities at NDSU.
